NEW YAMAHA R15 VERSION 2.0

Yamaha Motor India has just pulled the wraps of the new Yamaha R15 Version 2.0, the first Indian motorcycle which gave Indians a taste of what a super sports motorcycle handles like, three years ago. Fast forward to now, we have a brand new version of the R15, called the version 2.0, which like its name indicates is a second iteration of what has been a very big success for Yamaha India, not just in terms of sales but also as a brand builder for the Yamaha brand, which was teetering on the brink a few years ago.

The new Yamaha R15 Version 2.0 has been developed taking into consideration customer feedback, which in other words means that, through the new R15, Yamaha will actually give Indian motorcycle owners what they want. This translates into styling that borrows plenty of cues from super sports machines like the Yamaha R1 and the Yamaha R6.  Basically, the new R15 is a cosmetic makeover job at best and this makes it a big disappointment for many prospective R15 owners who were expecting an increase in performance.
